By modifying your rides exterior you can make a whole lot of difference to your rides appearance. Depending on how you want it to look you can then go down the whole unique "one-off" modifications or you can just add a little style to your rides appearance by using the mods freely available on the market
What are the disadvantages of modifying my rides exterior?
If you are modifying your ride it is a good idea to declare all mods to your insurance company. Unfortunately modifying normally means an increase on your insurance but in our eyes it's worth while as everything is then covered should you need to make a claim.

What is the legality of modifying my rides exterior?
There are no strict laws to modifying the exterior of your ride but there may be specific laws for each modification you will need to follow. Generally if your ride is able to pass its MOT test then it is deemed legal in that current state but beware there are some law requirements that aren't checked in the MOT that you could get stung for (for example Window Tinting)
